To meet major national strategic needs, promote innovation in pharmaceutical science and technology, cultivate high-level talent, and in accordance with the Regulations on the Administration of Postdoctoral Work and relevant institutional policies, the Postdoctoral Research Station in Pharmaceutical Sciences of Nanchang University is now inviting applications from outstanding doctoral graduates worldwide.

I. Host Institution and Disciplinary Strengths
The Postdoctoral Research Station in Pharmaceutical Sciences has been officially established since October 2023, with the approval from the national authorities and hosted by the School of Pharmacy, Nanchang University. The discipline of Pharmaceutical Sciences is:
※ A Key Discipline of Jiangxi Provincial Higher Education Institutions during the 12th Five-Year Plan period;
※ A priority discipline for innovation-driven development in biomedicine and population health;
※ A competitive discipline under the Ministry-Province Joint Development framework.
The discipline offers doctoral and master’s degree programs in the first-level discipline of Pharmaceutical Sciences, as well as a professional master’s degree in Pharmacy. Pharmacology & Toxicology ranks among the top 1.329‰ globally in ESI rankings, and the undergraduate Pharmacy program is part of the National First-Class Undergraduate Program Development Initiative.
II. Research Platforms and Facilities
The discipline hosts 15 high-level research platforms, including:

State-of-the-art equipment includes laser scanning confocal microscopes, high-performance liquid chromatography tandem mass spectrometry (HPLC-MS/MS), and nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR) spectrometers. The total value of research equipment is approximately RMB 120 million, with a combined laboratory area of 14,300 m².

III. Recruitment Criteria
Competitive Applicants must:
1. Possess strong scientific research and innovation capabilities, along with a spirit of teamwork.
2. Uphold high standards of academic ethics and maintain a rigorous scientific attitude; be in good health and fully capable of fulfilling the position requirements.
3. In-service personnel are not accepted for direct recruitment, but are encouraged to join the joint training programs through national-level postdoctoral research workstations in collaboration with the university.
4. Priority will be given to applicants with notable research achievements.

IV. Support Policies
1. Remuneration and Benefits
Full-time postdoctoral fellows (including international fellows) are employed under an annual salary system. The comprehensive pre-tax annual salary, including national and provincial subsidies, ranges from RMB 220,000 to 350,000.
