On September 22th, 2025, the opening ceremony for the “Herbal Wonders of China—A Journey to Explore Chinese Herbal Culture” program was held at our university, welcoming Spanish youth to China for academic exchange. Vice President Wang Li attended and delivered remarks.
On behalf of the university, Wang Li extended a warm welcome to all participating faculty and students. He introduced Nanchang University's distinctive educational features and fundamental profile, expressing anticipation for collaborating with the University of Castilla-La Mancha to advance Sino-foreign health cooperation and contribute to building a community with a shared future for mankind. Zhang Hanting, Dean of the School of Pharmacy, provided a detailed overview of the summer camp's experiential activities and specific arrangements, hoping this initiative would compose a new chapter in Sino-foreign friendly exchanges.
Maria Del Rocio Fernández Santos, Dean of the School of Pharmacy at the University of Castilla-La Mancha, expressed sincere gratitude on behalf of the visiting delegation for the meticulous arrangements made by our university. She looked forward to strengthening exchanges between the two institutions, enriching academic experiences and cultural understanding through faculty and student visits, and jointly advancing global pharmacy and health sciences.
Following the ceremony, faculty leaders from the Spanish delegation and relevant officials from the School of Pharmacy engaged in in-depth discussions on future collaboration. They reached a consensus on joint graduate training programs and undergraduate exchange initiatives, injecting new momentum into Sino-foreign educational cooperation and synergistic development in health sciences.
